I have been the journalist asking the questions. I have been the executive answering them. That changes everything about how I work.

For over 20 years, I walked into corporate offices, courtrooms, and crisis scenes with a camera crew and one job: find the truth and tell it before deadline.
I earned 26 Emmy Awards doing that. I also learned something no communications textbook teaches. I learned how every crisis looks from the outside. How a company's messaging sounds to a skeptical journalist. How quickly a reputation built over decades can unravel in a single press conference.
Then I crossed to the other side.
I joined NRG Energy, building the national EVGO brand from a standing start. From there, I became the Director of Communications for the largest state agency in Texas — 38,000 employees, 104 facilities, Internaionally controversial subjects and a pandemic that put every crisis protocol we had to the test simultaneously. Next came the Global agency world beginning with Edelman, the world's largest PR firm, working with Fortune 500 companies across energy, healthcare, and technology. I have been in the room when the crisis breaks. I have been on the phone at 2am. I know exactly how the media will interpret what you say next — because for over 20 years, I was the media.
Wordvision Media exists because those two careers — journalist and corporate communications executive — are not two separate things. They are one perspective on how stories are built, tested, and protected. That perspective is rare. I have not found it anywhere else. And it is what every client we work with gets, from day one.
What sits behind the work.
Why we are intentionally small.
Wordvision Media is not small because we lack capacity. It is small because the model is the value. When you work with us, you work with me. The person who understands your brand architecture is the same person who writes your executive communications, produces your video content, and picks up the phone at midnight when a crisis breaks. That is not a limitation. That is why it works. No handoffs. No message drift. No junior staff interpreting senior strategy. One source of expertise and accountability.
A limited number of engagements. Full attention on every one.
We take on a small number of client engagements at any time. Every relationship starts with a discovery call — not a pitch deck. We want to understand your business, your vulnerabilities, and your ambitions before proposing anything. If it is the right fit, we will both know it quickly.
Senior-level attention. Integrated from day one.
If your reputation is the thing you cannot afford to lose, the people protecting it should not be the most junior in the room.
